Liza received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from Louisiana State University in 2020. While in school Liza interned in the House Fiscal Division for three years where she worked directly with the committees of Appropriations, Ways and Means, and Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget.
Interning in the House Fiscal Division gave Liza the experience in handling committee records, committee staff subject matter research and judgements against the state and managing historical committee documents. Working intimately with the legislators and staffers allowed Liza to cultivate a broad range of skills and experience.
